Fundraising Concerts
The Craxton Memorial Trust runs a series of acclaimed afternoon tea, fundraising concerts given by distinguished musicians, as well as showcasing some of the talented young artists that the Trust has assisted.
The next dates for our acclaimed series of tea-party concerts are Sunday 23rd September 2012 and Sunday 2nd December 2012 at 4.00 p.m.
- Sunday 23rd September 2012 will be a very special event as the brilliant saxophonist John Harle, pianist Steve Lodder and superb violinist Pavel Sporcl will give the world première of a work specially composed by John Harle, in memory of the artist John Craxton, entitled 'Arcadia'.
- Sunday 2nd December - we are delighted to welcome back the pianist Philip Gammon - with more reminiscences about his life as Principal Pianist of the Royal Ballet.
Donations of £20.00 for adults and £10.00 for students are requested for both these concerts.
